En nombre del Pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua, y en nuestro propio nombre, expresamos nuestras más cálidas y sinceras felicitaciones a Usted, a su Gobierno y al Heroico Pueblo camerunés, en ocasión de conmemorarse el 54 aniversario del histórico Referéndum Constitucional del 20 de mayo de 1972.
En esta fecha de especial trascendencia para Camerún, celebramos la decisión soberana de su Pueblo de consolidar la unidad del Estado, reafirmando su vocación de Independencia, Autodeterminación, Cohesión Nacional y Paz, como pilares esenciales para la construcción de su presente y su futuro.
Desde nuestra Nicaragua, Siempre Bendita y Siempre Libre, reiteramos nuestra firme voluntad de continuar fortaleciendo los Lazos de Amistad, Solidaridad, Cooperación y Respeto Mutuo que unen a nuestros Pueblos y Gobiernos, en el espíritu de fraternidad que distingue las relaciones entre nuestras Naciones.

On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we convey our warmest and most sincere congratulations to you, to your Government and to the Heroic People of Cameroon, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 54th anniversary of the historic Constitutional Referendum of 20 May 1972.
On this date of special importance for Cameroon, we celebrate the sovereign decision of its people to consolidate the unity of the State, reaffirming its vocation of Independence, Self-Determination, National Cohesion and Peace, as essential pillars for the construction of its present and its future.
From our Nicaragua, Always Blessed and Always Free, we reiterate our firm will to continue strengthening the Bonds of Friendship, Solidarity, Cooperation and Mutual Respect that unite our Peoples and Governments, in the spirit of fraternity that distinguishes the relations between our Nations.
